“A Day in the Kitchen” is a one-day cooking class lesson lasting approximately 3.5 hours. Choose from a 9:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. start time, depending on if you wish to include lunch or dinner. You will prepare a four course menu in this hands-on lesson, following alongside a professional chef as you use the best seasonal products and learn how to make fresh, handmade pasta. Wine is also included. After the lesson, you will be able to relax and enjoy the recipes you prepared.
If others traveling with you don’t want to participate, they can still join us for lunch or dinner.
For morning courses only, you may decide to add our unique “botteghe walk.” This entails a short shopping walk in one of Florence’s most authentic neighborhoods, avoiding the tourist-packed markets. Together with our chef you will hunt for produce and visit our small, family-run butcher, local vegetable stall and an unmissable cheese shop before heading back to the school for your lesson. In this case, the course will begin at 9 a.m. in order to ensure that no time is taken away from your lesson.
